Douglass Psychology Child Study Center

The Center seeks to promote frequent communication between parents and teachers. There are two formal parent-teacher conferences each year, and parents are encouraged to speak with their child's teacher at other times as well. Parents may also participate in the monthly Parents' Advisory Committee meetings; just contact the Director, Jennifer Manuola, for more information.

Each week, the Director sends parents a Monday Memo e-mail and uploads the weekly lesson plans for the two classes to the website. Every month the Center distributes to parents a newsletter, and the monthly morning and afternoon snack schedule is also sent out.

Parents are encouraged to take advantage of the observation rooms, which are equipped with one-way mirrors that allow parents to watch their children at any time without being seen.
