How to Enroll Your Child

Enrollment at Douglass Psychology Child Study Center is open to children from 2 through 5 years of age. Enrollment shall be granted without regard to a child’s race, color, creed, religion, national origin, gender, or disability; and without regard to a parent or guardian’s race, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, gender, pregnancy or disability.

Parents can apply for enrollment of their child in Douglass Psychology Child Study Center by completing the Enrollment Application and paying the $10 Application Fee. The Application Fee is non-refundable.

Monthly tuition rates are for full-time, full-day attendance only, whether the child actually attends full-time or not. These tuition rates apply as of July 2007:

Jellybeans (2- and 3-year-olds): $815/month

Gummibears (4- and 5-year-olds): $750/month

Initial enrollment is contingent upon receipt of the completed enrollment application, signed fee agreement, registration fee, deposit, immunization records and signed Parent Handbook receipt. The Enrollment Application and Fee Agreements are not meant to serve as contracts guaranteeing service for any duration.

In the event that the Center is fully enrolled, a child’s name will be placed on a Waiting List for future consideration. Priority consideration is given in this order: 1-Psychology Dept. employees; 2-Siblings; 3-Rutgers employees; 4-Rutgers students; 5-Non-Rutgers applicants.

Parents interested in possibly enrolling their child in the Center should call or e-mail the Director, Jennifer Manuola (732-932-8881, jenne@rci.rutgers.edu), to discuss the Center's programs and/or to arrange a visit to the Jellybean Classroom or the Gummibear Classroom. The Center's application can be downloaded in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat .pdf format.
